Monday Musings

"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24

I feel good today.

The sun is shining, the weather is beautiful and I'm feeling productive.

Every year as we start school, I have a renewed sense of purpose; a mission.  We don't all share the same mission, but this is mine and I feel blessed.

Although, it is my son working on his primary education, I've found that I'm often the one learning "life lessons" along the way.

"I am still learning."
Michelangelo

Wishing you a blessed Monday and a terrific start to your week.

Heather

  1. Pretty view. And clean windows. Being on the second floor, with sliding windows, mine don't get cleaned often. Yusef started his third year of college today and Zack starts his senior year of high school next Monday. Next year I'll be an emptynester. Yikes! Have a great week. Tammy

  8. Hi Heather! As I have been catching up on your posts just now I especially enjoyed seeing your photos of the Northeast, the fort and your grandparents. I loved reading Phyllis Whitney's books, too, and was thrilled as a teenager that she kindly answered my fan letter to her. I have many good memories of the years I lived in the Northeast 100 miles north of New York City on the west bank of the Hudson River. I'm so glad you had a good bike ride and another good visit to the zoo, too. Your new blanket is coming along beautifully! I like the way the mattress stitch is joining the squares together and think I would like to try it on my granny square blanket...if I ever get going on it. :) May the Lord bless you and yours as you prepare for the school year. xx
P.S. I am praying some of your rain soon comes to soak the Pacific Northwest!
