Young Robin

From bush and hedge and tree
Joy, unrestrained and free,
Breaks forth in melody,
Twitter and chirp and song.

Happy Monday!

  1. What a cute and sweet little robin :) They are my favorite birds and I always enjoy seeing them around the yard. Thanks for sharing, dear friend. Wishing you a beautiful week! Hugs!

  2. So sweet. I just saved a gecko from Jingles jaw. Now she's scratching like crazy to get back outside. Have a great week. Tammy

  3. You captured it really well, well done. I have been trying for a few weeks to get a photo of one that keeps visiting the garden and everytime I pick up the camera it flies off. Have a great week.

  7. Hi Heather! Thanks to all my galavanting around I'm just now catching up on some of your news. I hope your son's poison ivy is all healed up! My daughters had cases of poison oak that required them to have prednisone to heal, too when they were young. You have our sympathies. The format of your new Bible sounds like a format I have enjoyed in the past. I love seeing your robin along with the verse, and I'm glad that Blackie suffered no ills from the poison ivy [other than enduring being scrubbed down :) ] Hoping you and yours are having happy summer days and that your pretty Mother's Day plants are thriving! xx

  8. Hello Heather,
I saw your blog on my friend, Karen's blog. You have so many wonderful pictures on here, and I thought I'd comment on this post, as the ROBIN is a very special bird to me. I even did a post about him on April 6 if you'd like to see. This one is a young fellow, isn't he? I noticed many of your flower pictures as well, and they're very pretty. Me and my daughters also love photography and try to capture as much beauty as we can, especially in nature. We have a blog, and we would love it if you would visit us and follow. I would certainly come back and follow you as well. It's nice to meet new friends, and I hope to hear from you. Have a delightful Sunday.
