Around the House

"There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort."
Jane Austen

We got quite a bit of snow yesterday.
Temps this morning registered below 0.

But we are warm and snug, nestled in our rug of a home.

Dear son is finishing up his morning lessons.  After lunch, I have an art project planned.
We'll learn a little about Paul Klee and create a picture in his style using pastels and water colors.

Who doesn't enjoy a little creative endeavor on a snowy day?

I have the candles going throughout the house...

and an easy dinner planned for tonight.

Baked cod, quick rice and steamed zucchini (or broccoli).  I haven't decided yet.
We live on the wild side.

:-)

I hope you are staying safe and warm.

Have a terrific day,

Heather

    1. Hi Sandi, thanks for your kind comment. We do homeschool. Even though our local schools are closed due to the weather, we can still get our lessons in and get in a fun project too. :-)
