A Pretty Day

Sunday, after church, my husband and I stopped down to look at the house.

While we were there, I thought I'd play with my camera and take some photos of the area.

It was cold, but the sun was shining and made for such a pretty afternoon.

Most of the leaves have fallen with the exception of some hardy shrubs; I think these are a type of honeysuckle.

It felt good to get out and smell the proverbial "roses".

Wishing you blessings for a fruitful week.

Heather

  1. I'm sure it's getting pretty exciting seeing every thing coming along at the house. Hopefully it's not much longer till it's all finished for you to move in. :)

  2. Lovely photos, Heather! I am playing catch up on reading my favorite blogs tonight, because our household while happy is especially busy with a new baby two lovely guests, as well as a loved couple in need of emergency housing. My schedule is being challenged :) My husband owned and ran a little new/used bookstore for five years so I appreciated your comments in your last post about your willingness to acquire used books! When he sold the store it was difficult not to pack up all the books to bring home for our personal use!
    Blessings,

    1. How neat Gracie. I didn't know that about you and your husband, I would want to bring all the book home as well. I'm sure you are enjoying your new addition and giving your "grands" lots of love. Have a terrific week and God bless.

    1. Thanks Kris. The house is coming slowly. Unfortunately, we won't be in before Christmas like I had hoped. I'll post an update this week.
