|Happy Birthday Little One|
The past week and a half have been a whirlwind.
My mom was here for about eight days to help celebrate dear son's eighth birthday.
We did all sorts of fun things and introduced "Grandma" to our favorite local parks.
Field trips were the theme of our week and we went to many different places.
We did a nature scavenger hunt and hike one day.
We went to Ft. Ancient museum and park another day and learned about the early American Indians that lived in our Ohio region.
Another day, we went to Springfield and learned about a prominent Ohio family that built a Frank Lloyd Wright home. We toured the home and learned some interesting things about the city and the Westcott Family (unfortunately, no photos were allowed inside the home).

We stopped by our lot and wood has been delivered!
(Insert heavenly angels singing here.)
They are supposed to begin framing this week!
But all the events built up to dear son's special day.
My sister and her family came up and we had a great time with games, pizza, birthday cake and ice cream. Dear son hailed it the "best birthday ever." (But I think he says that every year.)
I took my mom to the airport yesterday morning (3:30 a.m.!) and we are back in our normal routine.
Wishing you blessings for a wonderful week,
